The first electric ŠKODA built on the MEB platform brings a distinct evolution of the carmaker’s current design language. The car’s appearance is dynamic and self-assured. Its new proportions, which are made possible by the MEB platform for electric cars, enhance this impression. The SUV’s rugged looks are accentuated by the large 18” – 21” wheels.
“Combined with its emotive design and distinct, rugged appearance accentuated by the large wheels, the ŠKODA ENYAQ iV is a very attractive car that sets new standards,” says Stefani, summarising the overall impression the new model gives.
The front of the car is a beautiful example of the evolution of ŠKODA’s design language. “Even in our electric cars we stick to our classic radiator grille, which is an identifying feature of all contemporary ŠKODA models. On the ENYAQ iV, though, the grille is more upright, which gives an impression of self-confidence. The Crystal Face is also a unique feature,” Oliver Stefani says.
With its 130 diodes, the new Crystal Face is a brand-new feature that elevates the ENYAQ iV’s “light signature” to a new level. Along with the front headlights it gives the car an innovative look. As a result, the ENYAQ iV can’t help but catch the eye.
The ENYAQ iV’s interior also delivers new experiences. The MEB platform means that it’s very spacious and airy, and its pronounced digital concept has resulted in a minimalist feel. On top of this, the Design Selections that replace the traditional choices of features and are inspired by modern housing make the interior feel like a real home.
