The ŠKODA KAMIQ model has undergone an outdoor treatment and is currently being launched in the SCOUTLINE version. It offers striking accessories, body protection elements and stylish changes in the interior.

The new design accents the urban SUV’s adventurous character. The SCOUTLINE version is aimed at customers who want a more progressive version of the popular model. “Some people prefer a stylish and modern design that is the hallmark of the standard model. Others are after a more playful, vivacious design, and they are the customers the SCOUTLINE version is for,” says Dalibor Pantůček, who designed the exterior.

In his view, the KAMIQ SCOUTLINE’S appearance is the next step in the natural evolution of the SCOUTLINE’S DNA. “Robust protective features, a striking diffuser and spoiler, silver mirrors – all these combine to give a unique character that stands out from the crowd,” Pantůček describes the underlying philosophy. He adds, though, that functionality is also crucial: the additional protective features are practical both in the urban environment and when exploring out of town.

“The car is trendier and people can modify it more to their taste. SCOUTLINE will be an expression of their needs and tastes. It is aimed at customers who want to stand out, who like to feel safe while longing for freedom,” Pantůček explains who the SCOUTLINE version is ideal for.

This good-looking car comes with any engine offered for the KAMIQ range. The SCOUTLINE version will be available in twelve different colour schemes, nine of them metallic.

“My own personal favourite is Titan Blue, which I think best highlights the car’s muscular personality, offsetting its perfect proportions and emphasising its fresh look,” Pantůček says. But the plastic protective features and silver details like roof-rack runners, mirrors, diffuser, chrome-plated window frames or eighteen-inch anthracite light alloy wheels will go well with any colour scheme.

Besides the exterior design, SCOUTLINE also comes with new features in the interior as well. “It all starts with the warmer colour tones, of course, which are typical for all ŠKODA Scout models,” says Kateřina Vránová from the Color&Trim department. This warmer feel is combined with ash wood decorative elements, chrome-plated ventilation grilles and aluminium pedals. Ambient lighting enhances the pleasant interior atmosphere - you can choose between white, red or copper tones.

One speciality in the interior is the ThermoFlux seats. ThermoFlux is a special breathable material that the KAMIQ SCOUTLINE’S occupants will particularly appreciate in the summer months.
