For those interested in modern technology, the exhibition allows them to become acquainted with the greatest innovations in the realm of design, connectivity, and even with the attractive world of ŠKODA sponsorship.

Visitors on an area of 1200 m2 will experience the ŠKODA brand literally on their own skin, explains the intention of the project the project coordinator Lenka Patráková. Therefore, the creators of the exhibition focused especially on interactivity. The intensive preparations took three months.

REFINED DESIGN

What will those interested in ŠKODA encounter at the exhibition, which runs until 8 July, when they arrive at Drive arena? Immediately at the beginning of the exposition, spectators are struck by the ŠKODA SUPERB located in front of the shinning crystal gate with its special design elements from Czech glassmakers. Here visitors to the exhibition can find out for themselves how difficult glass grinding is on the installed grinding table and then take home their own unique crystal souvenir.

 

NEW CONTACT

In the realm of focused connectivity, ŠKODA presents new technologies to connect drivers with vehicles. Visitors connect their mobile phones to the exhibition cars and effortlessly discover what comfort this new connective offering brings.

 

SPORTING DNA

For years, ŠKODA has been known for its enthusiastic approach to sport. And for this reason, selected sporting industries, who share the same DNA, are strongly supported by ŠKODA. It’s no wonder, that this exhibition is dedicated to connecting the world of cycling with ice hockey or with rally racing. Zuzana Foltrová, a member of ŠKODA’s sponsorship department, points to the unique opportunity that the Drive exhibition brings to interested people in Berlin. One realizes how truly sporting the ŠKODA brand is, what values it possesses, and where the roots of its success are.

 

 

 

Visitors to this part of the exhibition are treated to the presented sports thanks to interactive trainers where they can compete with ŠKODA bicycles like those in the Tour de France or try to change the tire on a race car like they do during a race. One of the great challenges here is the VR rally simulation, where players experience a ride in the style of the ŠKODA motorsport team. And for the hockey fans, they have also come to the right place — a robokeeper will test them on how precisely they’re aiming on the goal and scoring.

The Berlin exhibition also captivates from the point of view of the vehicles. Michal Marek, who is responsible for the project’s logistics, says that each car in the exhibition has its own unique purpose and place in the overarching concept of the exhibition. To this end, he points out, for example, the original FABIA R5 race car, the unique SUPERB Tour de France, or the striking golden-glowing KODIAQ.
