ŠKODA KAROQ was chosen by readers of the German newspaper Bild am Sonntag, the weekly Auto Bild magazine, and its sister magazines in 20 European countries. Their votes sent new ŠKODA KAROQ to the finale in the small SUV category.

In that final round, ŠKODA KAROQ overcame strong competition from 11 opponents in demanding yet practical tests and was evaluated by 53  experts. The car then took first place in its category.

This year, 42 models in five categories competed for this award, which is one of the most prestigious automotive awards in Europe. The SUV category, with 12 representatives, had the most cars competing.

Take a closer look at ŠKODA KAROQ:

With the KAROQ, which sets benchmarks in many areas, we are consistently pressing ahead with our successful SUV campaign. I am delighted that the latest addition to our model range is also going down so well. The Golden Steering Wheel shows that with the KAROQ, we are currently offering the most attractive overall package in the compact SUV category.

ŠKODA KAROQ persuaded the jury especially by its spaciousness and comfort. It also received favourable points for connectivity. The vehicle offers the latest-generation infotainment system and is the first ŠKODA model also to have an individually programmable digital instrument panel.

How does one individually adjust the settings of the digital instrument panel?

ŠKODA KAROQ receives five stars in EURO NCAP test

The independent European New Car Assessment Program (Euro NCAP) has assessed the compact SUV. The ŠKODA KAROQ is the brand’s second vehicle to receive a five-star rating in the Euro NCAP-Test in 2017 after the ŠKODA KODIAQ, making the KAROQ one of the safest compact SUVs on the road today.
