Alexander Kolowrat – Although the 14th man in the entire Austro-Hungarian Empire to receive a pilot’s licence, cars were his biggest love, and particularly long-distance and uphill races; he won the 1st Zbraslav – Jíloviště (1908) and From the Tatras to the Adriatic, a 2,178 km race (1913); he was also the main character in Dědeček automobil (The Automobile Granddad), a book by Adolf Branald and a film of the same name.
