With ŠKODA entering the large SUV segment, the ŠKODA KODIAQ marks the beginning of a new chapter for the car manufacturer from Mladá Boleslav. With a length of 4,697 mm, it is one of the largest of its kind among the compact SUVs. Due to its generous amount of space, it is the first ŠKODA ever to offer the option of a third row of seats, and therefore space for up to seven people. With a boot capacity of up to 2,065 l, the KODIAQ is perfect for families. The ŠKODA Connect era also began with the KODIAQ: via this system the car can connect to the Internet and offers its passengers various services.
The ŠKODA KODIAQ has been extremely well-received all over the world. Around 60% of all customers have ordered the KODIAQ in its all-wheel-drive version. No other ŠKODA model has seen such demand from customers for its four-wheel-drive variant.
WHICH ŠKODA MODEL FEATURES THE MOST GROUND CLEARANCE?
The ŠKODA model with the most ground clearance is the ŠKODA KODIAQ SCOUT. With 194 mm, it also has larger approach and departure angles than the standard version with 20.1° at the front and 22.8° at the rear.
When combined with the 2.0 TDI engine, which has a power output of 110 kW, the KODIAQ 4×4 can tow a trailer weighing up to 2,500 kg, meaning it currently has the largest towing capacity of any ŠKODA. Trailer Assist provides support when reversing.
The state-of-the-art all-wheel-drive technology can be combined with nearly all of the engines available for the ŠKODA KODIAQ. In terms of transmission, there is a choice of a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 6- or 7-speed automatic dual-clutch transmission.
In its KODIAQ SCOUT and KODIAQ SPORTLINE model variants, the large ŠKODA SUV really stands out from the crowd. The KODIAQ SCOUT is ideally suited to off-road use and is exclusively available with all-wheel drive. The Rough-Road package protects the engine and chassis; full-LED headlights and LED fog lights always illuminate the road perfectly. The KODIAQ SCOUT has a ground clearance of 194 mm and has a larger ramp angle at the front and rear.
In contrast, the KODIAQ SPORTLINE also meets the requirements for sportiness and dynamism. It is also available with all-wheel drive for optimal traction and driving stability on the road.
