› Compact all-rounder with a bold design
› Variable interior and the largest boot within its segment
ŠKODA’s newest SUV also impresses with a distinctive design, innovative technology and excellent functionality. The all-wheel drive further improves the universal capabilities of the compact all-rounder.
With its modern and distinctive design language, the ŠKODA KAROQ fits perfectly into the Czech manufacturer’s portfolio. With its spacious, variable interior and its all-round capabilities, the KAROQ meets the most varied of requirements. With a length of 4,382 mm and the largest boot capacity of at least 521 l within its segment, it offers ideal conditions for versatile driving pleasure – both on tarmac and on rough terrain. Apart from the all-wheel drive, the large front and rear ramp angles also contribute to its off-road capabilities.
The ŠKODA KAROQ can be equipped with all of the technologies and assistance systems that ŠKODA currently offers. Standard equipment in the all-wheel-drive variants includes Off-Road and Snow mode; adaptive DCC, which can be set to one of three modes (Comfort, Normal and Sport), can also be ordered for the KAROQ 4×4. Depending on the engine version and model variant, the ŠKODA KAROQ has a towing capacity of up to 2,000 kg.
HOW CAPABLE IS THE KAROQ OFF-ROAD?
The KAROQ is also impressive on rough terrain: thanks to its compact dimensions, it features the largest ramp angle in the entire ŠKODA range with 19.9° at the front and 27.8° at the rear (when combined with 19-inch alloy wheels). In addition to the multi-plate clutch, the assistance systems with Off-Road mode also increase the compact SUV’s capabilities on rough terrain.
Unlike cars with front-wheel drive, the KAROQ 4×4 uses a DSG variant with a wet clutch designed for high torque. A four-link rear axle provides optimum grip, even in more challenging conditions.
