Park Distance Control

Park Distance Control consists of sensors integrated in the rear bumper, which check the car’s distance from any obstacles.

Alerts take the form of sound signals or visual signals on the infotainment display. There are three ultrasound sensors in the back bumper, which monitor the area around the vehicle.

The Park distance control features automatic emergency braking. If detecting a threat of colliding with an obstacle (analysing the car’s speed and direction) and the car’s speed is between 1.5 km/h and 10 km/h, the system automatically brakes the vehicle. The function can be deactivated, either temporarily or permanently.

The Park Distance Control including automatic emergency braking is available for the ŠKODA SCALA, ŠKODA KAMIQ, ŠKODA OCTAVIA, ŠKODA SUPERB, ŠKODA KAROQ and ŠKODA KODIAQ.
