Interior design is not only about the materials used, but above all about design. At Škoda Auto, we therefore strive for timeless design with long-term value and not subject to current trends. The workspaces have been designed with an emphasis on long-term usability and the possibility of continuous renewal of equipment. Our philosophy of timeless design is based on three pillars:

The semi-enclosed space known as Cave is designed for the birth of ideas and the shaping of their earliest forms. The harmonious setting of Nest encourages creative exploration, helping initial thoughts evolve into well-developed concepts. Oracle provides the environment to refine and finalize ideas, while the presentation hall Agora serves as the stage where they can be shared, discussed, and brought to life.

Biophilic design is an approach to interior architecture that integrates natural elements, forms, and materials to create a harmonious and inspiring work environment. At Škoda Auto, the biophilic concept of the multifunctional workspace draws inspiration from the atmosphere of urban parks, reflected in the use of natural materials, abundant greenery, earthy color palettes, and carefully considered lighting design.

The soundscapes complement the visual and physical zoning created through plant walls, screens made from stamped parts Acoustic backdrops complement the visual and physical division of spaces using flower walls, screens made of moldings and slats made using the 3D printing method. The intensity of the sound adapts to the occupancy of individual areas, which increases the effectiveness of acoustic insulation. For example, in the innovative Nest room, birds sing, in the part with futuristic architecture, the sound of a distant city is implemented, and pleasant music is played in the work café and other Relax zones.

The furniture, ceiling features, space dividers, and other interior elements were produced entirely using 3D printing technology. These include the structural frames of sofas, and the table bases in the work café, ceiling features serving both visual and acoustic functions, as well as organically designed planters.

Of the six primary lighting functions used in Škoda vehicles (daytime running lights, position lights, low beams, Matrix high beams, fog lights and turn indicators), three are utilized within the Crystal Eyes light installation: daytime running lights, low beams and turn indicators. The low-beam function is particularly striking, as it highlights the blue Crystallinium element. However, the light intensity of the low beams had to be reduced to a minimum to prevent glare for people passing through space. The installation is complemented by a creative frame surrounding the headlights, which was produced using 3D printing technology from recycled material.

Škoda vehicle components can be found throughout the futuristic section of the floor, which has been designed to embody the spirit of the automobile. The space is divided by stamped metal panels from vehicle side body sections, bonnets, tailgates and roofs, while the suspended ceiling features are enhanced by seat belts from the Elroq model. Vehicle components, particularly textiles, can also be found in other areas of the workspace. For example, the walls of the smallest meeting booth are covered with airbag fabric, while in the Cave meeting room, both the walls and sofas are upholstered with fabrics used in vehicle seats.

We removed the damaged chrome finish from the aluminium frames of the iconic chairs through a blasting process and completely refurbished the worn upholstery. In doing so, we restored the chairs’ authentic appearance, elegance, and comfort. Following this revitalization, they now contribute to the aesthetically balanced office environment, eliminating the need to purchase new furniture unnecessarily.

Agora is a prime example of how cutting-edge technology has been integrated into the workspace. Its most striking feature is an LED display measuring 9.6 meters in width and 2.7 meters in height. The hall is also equipped with microphone systems, ceiling-mounted loudspeakers, and a dedicated audiovisual control system. In Agora, every presentation becomes an integral part of space itself, creating an engaging and memorable experience.
