Škoda Peaq has set out on its first drive in the surroundings of the picturesque Lake Como, where elegant lifestyle meets outstanding natural scenery. The lake is framed by Alpine peaks, which are also reflected in the playful camouflage of the vehicle. Peaq represents the equivalent of the Kodiaq model and will therefore provide customers interested in a large SUV with a free choice between internal combustion engine powertrains and full electric mobility.

Externally, the car impresses with its imposing length of 4.9 meters, and once the camouflage is removed, it will reveal itself to the world in ten different paint finishes. The Sportline trim level, featuring a more dynamic design, will be available from the launch. The generous selection of wheels includes sizes ranging from 19 to 21 inches. For the very first time, a Škoda model will feature elegant flush door handles that retract into the bodywork when driving and when the car is locked. The developers placed an emphasis on safety and reliability under all circumstances—the system is designed to allow easy mechanical operation if required.

The interior, designed for five or up to seven occupants, focuses on efficient use of space and offers ample room even in the third row. This is supported by the long wheelbase of 2,965 mm. The car will be available with one of five interior variants featuring Techtona material, an alternative to synthetic leather. At the top of the range are two Suite Design Selections available in black or in the light grey Ceramique shade. The Loft Design Selection combines grey textile upholstery with black Techtona elements on trims and seats. Lodge Design Selection features grey stitching with contrasting green accents, while the Sportline Lounge Design Selection adds a more dynamic character with a combination of Suediaupholstery and Techtona material.

Peaq will also confirm its flagship position upon opening the tailgate, revealing the largest trunk in the brand’s portfolio – 1,010 litres in the five-seat configuration. The seven-seat version offers 299 litres. Practicality is further enhanced by a front trunk (frunk) with a capacity of 37 litres.

An oasis of calm and premium sound

Travelling on board the Škoda Peaq will be a true experience. A completely new feature is the Relax Package, combining comfort and modern technology. It includes AGR-certified ergonomic seats with electrically adjustable footrests and massage functions. The new Wellness App offers animated breathing and meditation exercises.

Peaq will also deliver an exceptional audio experience thanks to cooperation with leading audio manufacturer Sonos. Prepare for immersive and energetic sound. Innovation continues with a panoramic roof featuring electrochromic glass, allowing the transparency of the roof to be adjusted without the need for a mechanical sunshade.

The Peaq uses new software based on the Android operating system, which has also been adopted by Škoda’s other major new model this year—the affordable Epiq electric car. The vertically oriented 13.6-inch infotainment display features touch buttons with haptic feedback. The driver’s area is complemented by a 10-inch digital instrument cluster and an optional augmented reality head-up display. Another interesting first for Škoda is windshield washer nozzles integrated directly into the wiper arms, ensuring more effective cleaning.

Ready for long-distance journeys

Škoda Peaq is based on an extended MEB platform, enabling the installation of a larger battery than previously available. Variants 60, 90 and 90x will be offered, with outputs ranging from 150 to 220 kW. Even the entry-level version will providea driving range exceeding 460 kilometres, while higher variants will surpass 600 kilometres. The 90x variant features all-wheel drive thanks to one electric motor on each axle.

The batteries are designed for exceptionally fast charging, ensuring that longer journeys are not an issue. Practical features also include V2L (Vehicle-to-Load), enabling the powering of electrical devices and appliances directly from the vehicle battery, as well as V2H/G (Vehicle-to-Home/Grid) technology for integration with domestic or public power networks.
