Next Level Škoda Strategy 2030
The auto industry is navigating an unprecedented shift, and Škoda is actively participating in the transformation. For us, sustainability isn’t an afterthought – it’s central to our strategy. Our mission is to minimise our environmental footprint, drive sustainable growth, and make a positive impact on society. These are some of our key sustainability commitments by 2030:
+ 6
We’re launching six new all-electric models in the following years

+ 70%
We aim to increase the all-electric share of our European car sales to over 70% by 2030

- 50%
We aim to cut our fleet’s CO2 emissions by over 50% compared to 2020 and achieve CO2-neutral production

- CO₂
We are reducing our carbon footprint along the entire value chain
Our Three Pillars of Sustainability
Our strategy for achieving our sustainability commitments rests on three pillars (ESG): Environment encapsulates our whole-value-chain approach to sustainability, covering everything from sourcing materials to end-of-lifecycle considerations for our vehicles. Social is inspired by shared-value concept, aimed at positively impacting society. Governance outlines how we conduct our business sustainably.- Environment
- Social
- Governance
We create products and mobility services in line with environmental regulations and standards, but the story doesn’t end here. We’re working to reduce the environmental impact throughout the product lifecycle and embracing circular economy principles.
As a modern car company, we go beyond just building vehicles; we view our work as an opportunity to increase road safety, enhance technical education, and raise living standards across all the regions where we operate.
Our Corporate Governance systems reflect our obligations and dedication to responsible, competent and transparent business activities. These not only keep us on the right track; they are crucial to our sustainable success.
Supply Chain
Our procurement strategy integrates key sustainability aspects—decent working conditions, business ethics, responsible sourcing of raw materials, and environmental protection, including recycling and reducing our CO2 footprint. We partner exclusively with suppliers who actively support these commitments.

Production
From CO2-neutral production at the Vrchlabí site to zero landfill waste at any Škoda plant since 2020, we strive to build cars and components with as little environmental impact as possible, preserving the environment for present and future generations.
Product
Inspired by the circular economy, we’re incorporating innovative and exciting materials into our products. Giving new life to recycled PET bottles to create high-quality seat covers is just one example of sustainability meeting innovation at Škoda.

Launched in 2012, our Green Future programme rests on three pillars: Green Product, Green Factory and Green Retail.
The Green Future philosophy focuses on reducing the environmental impact of all our mobility products and services, from raw material extraction to end-of-life, with the aim of preserving ecosystems, benefiting society, and fostering regional development.
In 2019, the goTOzero mission was introduced as part of Green Future, prioritising four key areas: climate change, resources, air quality, and environmental compliance.
People and Communities
We are aiming for a principle of shared value for people and communities. We focus on projects in the areas of education, mobility, volunteering and wellbeing, as well as efforts to provide humanitarian aid.

Diversity and Inclusion
Diversity, equity and inclusion are an inseparable part of our corporate culture. We give everyone the opportunity to explore and develop their potential in a natural and safe environment that is sensitive to their unique qualities.
Aiming for Shared Value
At Škoda, we believe economic and social development go hand-in-hand. That's why we stick to the concept of shared value which should benefit not only us as a company, but also our employees, customers, suppliers, the community at large and the environment. Shared value is based on sharing our skills, know-how and products with others to achieve better results and benefits together. To help us share more efficiently, we have defined two areas of focus within our social sustainability strategy: people & communities and diversity & inclusion.Governance
Our governance systems ensure that we act ethically and make decisions in line with regional and international laws. Through fair business practices, we’re cultivating the trust among our employees and customers that we need to thrive.
