INTRODUCING THE MODEL

The ŠKODA KAMIQ is the next step forward in the successful SUV offensive on the European market. Joining the popular urban SUV segment, this model combines the classic advantages of an SUV – such as the higher ground clearance and elevated seating position – with the nimbleness of a compact car. With its distinctive emotive design, state-of-the-art driver-assistance and infotainment systems, generous roominess and host of Simply Clever features, the ŠKODA KAMIQ ticks all the boxes for lifestyle-focused customers and their families.

Highlights

Design

Design

The ŠKODA KAMIQ’s look is epitomised by split headlights with daytime running lights running along the top. Viewed from the side, the car looks beefy and dynamic with its 16- to 18-inch wheels and high-sitting bonnet. The rear light clusters with retroreflectors offer a fresh interpretation of ŠKODA's signature C-shaped tail lights.

Dynamic front and rear indicators

Dynamic front and rear indicators

The KAMIQ is the first ŠKODA to feature dynamic front and rear indicators. Once activated, the direction indicator’s individual diodes light up in sequence in a sweeping motion from the inside to the outside.

Infotainment and connectivity

Infotainment and connectivity

The KAMIQ’s new generation of infotainment systems with displays of up to 9.2" is complemented by the Virtual Cockpit, featuring a 10.25" screen and five display modes. The ŠKODA KAMIQ is always connected to the internet thanks to its built-in eSIM card. There is also an extensive range of ŠKODA Connect services, including new infotainment applications.

Safety first

Safety first

Besides the nine airbags, passenger safety is enhanced by Side Assist. When the car is changing lane, this system detects vehicles approaching from behind that are ready to overtake or are in the blind spot. Side Assist can keep track of what is happening behind the vehicle up to a range of 70 m, so it also capably alerts the driver to dangers on motorways and expressways.

Sport Chassis Control

Sport Chassis Control

The new optional Sport Chassis Control system makes the car even sportier. In addition to Normal mode, the sporty chassis – which is 10 mm lower – offers a Sport mode with more rigid, electronically controlled shock absorption.
