The fourth-generation Octavia’s facelift plays to the strengths of its predecessors by offering a roomy luggage compartment – now with new Simply Clever features – and lots of cabin space. The Octavia also has plenty of standard-fit equipment that combines with the interior ergonomics and functionality to keep everyone comfortable, even when the road is long. The range of powertrains comprises fuel-efficient diesel and petrol engines, with options such as mild-hybrid technology and all-wheel drive.

The Octavia has been given a fresh, sleek look without sacrificing its traditional practicality. It is available as a spacious estate or a stylish liftback. The distinctive body lines are accentuated by powerful second-generation Matrix-LED headlights incorporating original crystalline elements and Top LED rear lights with dynamic direction indicators.

The new Octavia offers several different interior designs with a choice of materials, colours, and seats. The optional certified ergonomic seats with ventilation and massage function will make long journeys all the more comfortable. This is the first time that the Octavia is also available with a tan leather interior.

The powertrain range comprises 1.4 to 2 litre petrol engines delivering 85 to 150 kW, along with 85 and 110 kW 2 litre diesel engines. There is a choice between manual and automatic transmissions, and some of the petrol engines can also be paired with mild-hybrid technology or all-wheel drive.

On the tech front, the new Octavia sports a large 13” infotainment system, 10” Virtual Cockpit and head-up display. Those sitting in the front have access to fast-charging USB-C ports and a wireless charger with active ventilation. Rear passengers will welcome further fast-charging USB-C ports, plus air-conditioning with its own rear-seat-only third zone.

The safety of the car’s occupants is assured by up to 10 airbags and a host of advanced driver-assistance systems. One of them is an improved fatigue detection assist that uses a new algorithm to track drivers’ behaviour and gauge how tired they are. The new Octavia also features automatic parking and remote parking via a mobile app.
