In the welding shop, individual parts like the front and rear floor, sides and roof are spot-welded. A number of industrial robots manipulate the individual parts, apply glue and weld them together. The result is a car body that has great strength and perfectly precise dimensions. This precision is verified on the Kodiaq by automated measuring stations integrated into the production lines.
