Spacious, comfortable, and striking. Five reasons to want the Škoda Peaq

Škoda Peaq is the new flagship of the Mladá Boleslav-based brand. It offers a class-leading amount of interior space as well as a wide range of comfort and practical features, many of which are making their debut in a Škoda model. However, the list of its strengths is far longer. Take a closer look.

With seating for up to seven occupants and an impressive driving range, the Škoda Peaq is an electric vehicle without compromise. “It helps us reach new groups of customers while continuing to deliver the values our customers appreciate most – spaciousness, practicality and outstanding value for money,” says Škoda Auto CEO Klaus Zellmer, describing the new car.

Generous interior space, extensive features, and excellent ride comfort are, of course, a given. However, the Peaq also has other selling points that make it stand out. Here are five of them:

It looks outstanding

The Peaq captivates the audience at first sight. Its design, created in line with the Modern Solid design language, is striking, confident and functional. The Peaq conveys elegance and a premium feel regardless of which of the eight available exterior colours is chosen. The palette includes the brand-new Rosewood Beige metallic finish, helping the Peaq truly stand out from the crowd.

“Every shape has its meaning; every line has a purpose. Everything is guided by one key principle – offering our customers the absolute best,” comments Chief Designer Oliver Stefani.
The Peaq combines distinctive design elements such as T-shaped headlights and the Tech-Deck Face, available with optional illuminated styling, with elegant surfaces and flowing proportions.

A truly spacious interior

With a wheelbase of 2,965 mm and an overall length of 4,874 mm (height: 1,664 mm; width: 1,867 mm), the Peaq is the largest Škoda model to date. Thanks to these dimensions and the MEB platform, it delivers exceptional interior space. The Peaq is available with up to three rows of seats accommodating a total of seven passengers, while occupants in the third row also benefit from generous space and won´t feel cramped.  In the five-seat configuration, the luggage compartment offers a capacity of 935 litres. Even in the seven-seat layout, it still provides an impressive 299 litres of luggage space. In addition, a 37-litre front luggage compartment (frunk) is available.

At its premiere, Škoda also demonstrated the model’s versatility by transforming it into a camper van.

Cabin comfort without compromise

The Peaq is not only remarkably spacious but also exceptionally comfortable. The generous amount of space naturally contributes to passenger comfort, as do the comfort-oriented suspension setup, excellent sound insulation and carefully selected interior materials. The standard seats already provide a prominent level of comfort, but customers can also choose the Relax Package, transforming the vehicle into a true lounge on wheels. The package includes AGR-certified seats with a massage function, ergonomic leg rests, a premium audio system developed in cooperation with Sonos and a wellness application designed to create an even more relaxing atmosphere.

Another nice touch is a folding table neatly integrated into the centre console.

A driving range champion

The Peaq is available with a battery pack offering up to 91 kWh of gross capacity (86 kWh net), the largest battery ever fitted to a Škoda model. This enables a driving range of more than 640 kilometres on a single charge. Even the version equipped with the entry-level battery pack, featuring 63 kWh gross capacity (59 kWh net), delivers a driving range of more than 450 kilometres. These figures are supported by highly refined aerodynamics. Škoda engineers optimised even the smallest details. The Peaq features special active shutters beneath the front bumper, a newly developed air-curtain system directing airflow around the wheels, aerodynamic wheel covers on wheel sizes ranging from 19 to 21 inches, flush door handles, as well as a rear diffuser and spoiler. The result is a drag coefficient of just 0.249. At the same time, the Peaq is not only efficient but also capable of impressive performance. It is available with either rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive and outputs of 150 kW, 210 kW and 220 kW.

Countless clever features

Škoda customers are familiar with the brand’s Simply Clever solutions, and the Peaq naturally includes traditional features such as the ice scraper and umbrella stored in the door. In addition, it introduces a host of innovative technologies and convenience features. These include an infotainment system with a vertically oriented 13.6-inch display. Operation is made easier by a centre armrest that is adjustable both longitudinally and vertically. High-power wireless smartphone charging with the Qi2 standard is available, alongside practical physical climate-control controls.

The Peaq also features the largest panoramic roof ever offered by Škoda, covering 2.1 m². Its Dynamic Shading Control allows occupants to adjust the level of tinting and light transmission according to their preferences. Parking is made easier by a panoramic camera system with a transparent 3D vehicle view function. A comprehensive range of driver-assistance and safety systems is also available, including the advanced Travel Assist 3.0 system. Practical details extend to the windscreen wipers, which feature integrated washer nozzles for improved cleaning performance.
