According to the promotional video, you could lose your dog in the ŠKODA Octavia. It’s an exaggeration of course, but there’s some truth in it, because the car is very, very roomy.
Legroom is one thing (and, yes, it has plenty of that) but luggage storage is another. So listen to this: the luggage compartment has a 610-litre capacity, roomy enough for four suitcases. And at the pull of handle, that space can expand to an almost unbelievable 1,740 litres – room for something like ten suitcases. They can be heavy ones, too, because this car has a payload of 645 kilograms. Then come the details. There’s a coat rack and waste bin, and you can collapse the front passenger seat easily to transport items up to three metres long. For designers at ŠKODA, space is no longer the final frontier.
