PKG/2 – Forge

Petr has been working in ŠKODA for 20 years, currently in the position of the coordinator of the forge in the metallurgy plant. His task is to ensure the production of forging in the required quantity and quality in hall H2.

“I would like to wish all people, my loved ones and myself to enjoy 2017 in good health, with a smile on our lips, in the company of our loved ones and for each to find a little time for themselves and for that which brings them joy.”

FIS/6 – Mail and shipment of packages

Alena has been working in the car factory in the mail room for more than 40 years. Her task is to operate the data box and to handle external shipments.

Head of Engine and Chassis Development

Head of Engine and Chassis Development; third generation of the Hrdlička family working at ŠKODA – after his grandfather Karel and his father Petr, the "spiritual father" of the legendary Favorit.

“I wish all my family members and friends good health. Generally, I would like to see enough common sense, enough respect for the values of our culture and enough respect for each other. And peace - no exaggeration!”

Zuzana has been working as a guide in the ŠKODA Museum since July 2016.

Michal has been working in the company as a driver of machinery in hall M15 since 2007. His job is the delivery and preparation of materials for the pressing machines.

“Like everyone, I mainly wish good health for myself and my loved ones and I also wish it for everyone else, along with a bit of happiness. And I hope people will like each other and not be mean to one another. Then we will definitely live better in 2017 as well.”

This year Věra Výdová has been working in the company for 21 years. Apart from 3 years in the Assembly Department, she spent all of this time in the paint shop as a painter.

“I would mainly like to wish everyone good health and for everybody to be able to manage to do everything they need to – adults at work and children in school. And also for everybody in this hectic time to find time for their families and to find joy in the little things.”

Petr has been working at ŠKODA for five years, currently as a Recruiter in Production & Sales and Marketing, STR/2 – Recruitment Centre.

“I wish everyone to be healthy and happy, because I can see many people around me who are fairly well-to-do, but not really happy. I wish my family members and friends to look to the future full of hope that everything ends well and that all their secret wishes are met. I wish ŠKODA to be a great employer also in the future and successfully continue its journey that it started 25 years ago. And, without wanting to sound pathetic, I wish peace all over the world. We've had it for quite some time and we should never stop appreciating that.”

BERNHARD MAIER

CEO of ŠKODA

The qualified car mechanic continued his studies in Economics in Calw, Baden-Württemberg. His career started with Nixdorf. In 1988, he began employment with BMW in different positions both at home and abroad. In 2001, he moved to Porsche, where he was Head of Local Sales. He became a Board Member of Porsche in 2010. Last November he was appointed as CEO of ŠKODA.
