Mladá Boleslav, 12 October 2026 – Škoda Auto is expanding the Epiq lineup with the new Sportline version, giving the brand's smallest and most affordable all-electric SUV a distinctly sporty character. The Sportline’s extensive standard equipment makes it the best-equipped Epiq version. Standard features include LED Matrix headlights and LED taillights, an illuminated grille, electrically adjustable sports seats, a heated three-spoke sports steering wheel with paddles, and black headlining. The glossy black Sportline accents further enhance its sporty appearance. The Škoda Epiq Sportline is available in two versions with different power outputs: the Epiq 40 and the Epiq 55.
Sharply sculpted exterior with glossy black accents
The Epiq Sportline’s sporty character is instantly recognisable: body-coloured front and rear bumpers, glossy black Škoda lettering and roof rails, and black wing mirror covers give it a distinctly dynamic presence.
The Sportline is the only Epiq variant offered with a blacked-out roof. The wheels add to its athletic stance: 19‑inch black alloy wheels come as standard, with 20-inch wheels available as an option – both designs are exclusive to the Sportline.
Advanced lighting as standard
Black-themed interior for a more dynamic driving experience
The interior is finished in sporty black, with electrically adjustable sports seats upholstered in soft-touch Suedia providing enhanced lateral support for the driver and front passenger. Suedia is also used on the armrest, door panel inserts, and dashboard trim. A heated three-spoke Sportline-badged sports steering wheel comes with paddles to adjust the level of recuperation, while the pedals feature stainless-steel covers. Standard equipment also includes ambient lighting, wireless phone charging with a maximum output of 15 W, and decorative door sills.
The best-equipped Epiq yet
As the best-equipped version of the Epiq, the Sportline includes the Convenience and Tech Packages found in the Selection trim, plus the Light & View Package as standard. The Convenience Package includes a heated steering wheel and front seats, dual-zone Climatronic automatic air-conditioning, an auto-dimming rear-view mirror, and privacy glass from the B-pillar rearwards (Sunset).
The Tech Package adds front parking sensors, KESSY Advanced with automatic locking and unlocking, a Digital Key, a rear-view camera, and wireless phone charging.
The Light & View Package combines LED Matrix headlights, Top LED taillights, and an illuminated front grille (Light Band).
Two further packages are optional. The Travel Package adds Travel Assist 3.0, Crew Protect Assist, navigation, and a three-year subscription to Škoda Connect Premium services. The Premium Package includes a Top Area View 360° panoramic camera system, a Canton 10-speaker sound system, a frunk, Remote Parking, Trained Parking, and Reversing Assist.
Two power outputs, two battery capacities
The Epiq Sportline is offered in two versions: the Epiq 40 and the Epiq 55. The Epiq 40 has a traction battery with a gross capacity of 38.5 kWh (37 kWh net) and covers more than 310 kilometres1 on a single charge. It delivers a maximum output of 99 kW2 and a maximum torque of 267 Nm. Charging the battery from 10 to 80 per cent takes just 23 minutes.
For stronger performance, the Epiq 55 is fitted with a traction battery with a gross capacity of 55 kWh (52 kWh net), delivering a maximum output of 155 kW1 and a maximum torque of 290 Nm, which allows the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.1 seconds. It covers up to 440 kilometres1 on a single charge, and the battery can be charged from 10 to 80 per cent in as little as 24 minutes.3
Both variants have a top speed of 160 km/h and offer regenerative braking, a coasting mode, and the ECO assistant. The latter uses prompts on the Digital Cockpit to encourage efficient driving and effective use of regenerative braking, helping to reduce energy consumption and extend the vehicle’s range.
1 Preliminary data.
2 Maximum power is determined in accordance with UN-GTR.21. It is available when the high-voltage battery is at its highest possible state of charge (SoC) and operating within its optimal temperature range. The power available varies according to the driving scenario and is influenced by factors including battery temperature, SoC, and physical ageing.
3 Maximum charging power and charging time (from 10% to 80%). Actual charging performance may vary between charging stations, even at the same kW rating. It depends on factors such as maximum charging current, ambient and battery temperature, battery state of charge and ageing, and the condition and load of the charging station and infrastructure. The stated maximum power is measured under WLTP conditions at around 23 °C and a battery state of charge of at least five per cent. Changes in these conditions may result in different charging performance.
