The Škoda Fabia Motorsport Edition builds on the Fabia 130 special edition, the fastest series-production car in the Fabia model range, and adds its own sporty stamp that will appeal to fans of both the Škoda brand and Škoda Motorsport. This limited edition offers a vehicle suited to everyday use that has a strong link to the successful rally cars from Mladá Boleslav. It features a styling package inspired by rallying, with visual elements drawn from the current Škoda Fabia RS Rally2 competition car.
The design of the limited edition draws on the brand’s motorsport heritage. The Fabia Motorsport Edition is available exclusively in Moon White metallic paint, complemented by black pillars and a black roof. The exterior is further defined by black-painted details, including the front and rear spoilers and the diffuser. Special decals inspired by the current Fabia RS Rally2 competition car give the model a striking appearance. Bi-LED headlights with black inner surrounds sharpen the look of the front end. Unique 18-inch Libra alloy wheels in a smoked finish. together with lowered suspension, create a dynamic stance, while a twin exhaust tailpipe beneath the diffuser completes the overall look.
The black sports interior combines everyday usability with a motorsport feel. The front sports seats with integrated head restraints offer strong lateral support and, like the dashboard, are enhanced with carbon-look trim. The interior’s exclusivity is underlined by the plaque on the dashboard showing the car’s individual number within the limited run of 125 units, as well as the Škoda Motorsport 125 emblem on the three-spoke sports steering wheel and the woven floor mats. When the front doors are opened, passengers are greeted by bespoke door sill trims featuring a racing decal motif. The Fabia Motorsport Edition builds on the technical basis of the most powerful Fabia model version, while also adding a collectible dimension and a direct link to Škoda Motorsport’s anniversary.
At the heart of the Fabia Motorsport Edition is an enhanced 130 kW 1.5 TSI evo2 engine. Powertrain Development specialists at Škoda Auto Technical Development modified selected components, including the intake manifold, vibration damper and rocker arms, to accommodate the increased output. Compared with the standard 110 kW 1.5 TSI unit, the engine delivers more power from as low as 3,500 rpm. The maximum output of 130 kW is available between 5,000 and 6,000 rpm, while peak torque of 250 Nm is delivered across a broad range from 1,500 to 4,000 rpm. The seven-speed DSG transmission has been enhanced, with higher shift points for faster acceleration, rev-matched downshifts in Sport mode and revised braking logic for quicker re-acceleration. These modifications underscore the car’s dynamism while ensuring it remains fully suitable for everyday use, without compromising comfort.
A special gift box, prepared exclusively for owners of this limited edition, forms part of the exclusive customer experience. Each customer receives a Fabia Motorsport Edition certificate of origin signed by members of the Board of Management of Škoda Auto, a protective transport case bearing the Fabia 125 logo, driving gloves and a unique collector’s item: a piece of the safety frame from a Škoda Fabia RS Rally2, further reinforcing the link between this limited-edition model and the world of Škoda Motorsport rally cars.
