ŠKODA vehicles’ long history of success at the Monte Carlo Rally

The Laurin & Klement from Mladá Boleslav took part in the Monte Carlo Rally as early as 1912, with the ŠKODA brand then competing from 1936 onwards. The ŠKODA RAPID coupé (1937) departed from Palermo for Monaco. A rear-view mirror that was too small pushed it from 2nd to 4th place in its class 4.
