ŠKODA vehicles’ long history of success at the Monte Carlo Rally

In the 1977 MCR, the ŠKODA 130 RS factory coupés dominated the under 1,300 cm3 class: the winners were Václav Blahna/Lubislav Hlávka, followed by Milan Zapadlo/Ing. Jiří Motal. In the overall standings they took 12th and 15th place respectively.
