› MyŠkoda app upgraded with several new functions for electric vehicles
› Powerpass seamlessly integrated into the MyŠkoda app
› Infotainment system updates for an even better user experience
Mladá Boleslav, 31 March 2025 – The new Škoda Enyaq delivers state-of-the-art connectivity. The upgraded MyŠkoda app introduces several enhancements, including new functions such as a loyalty programme and an Offers tab. Powerpass is fully integrated into the app. Updates to the infotainment system such as a Heaters button further improve the user experience.
Enhanced MyŠkoda app with a host of new functions
The latest version of the MyŠkoda app is even more user-friendly. The MyŠkoda Club including the loyalty programme, where users earn points for completing tasks and challenges, has been expanded to all European markets, complete with digital badges. : The new Offers feature in the map allows drivers to browse and select discounts and special offers directly in the MyŠkoda app, which can be redeemed at petrol stations, restaurants, hotels, and shops. A Charging Statistics tab has been added to the MyŠkoda app as well, and performance has been enhanced. The online/offline/standby vehicle status information has been improved, with a pull-down refresh feature for instant updates. The Battery Protection function enhances connectivity. For example, if the vehicle is awake, vehicle requests, e.g. to start the climate control, will be completed within “a few seconds”. This protects the battery and prolongs its life. The redesigned Trip Planner brings revised battery level controls and a more detailed overview of charging stops, including time spent charging en route. It is now possible to specify a preference when planning a route in the app so that charging stops should be made up of Powerpass-compatible charging stations only. Among prior updates to the MyŠkoda app is the integration of Powerpass, giving drivers access to over 800,000 charging points across Europe, and Plug & Charge, enabling seamless charging at public stations without the need for external authorisation methods like RFID cards or apps. Other new features include Predictive Maintenance, which uses driving data and the Vehicle Health Report to identify potential issues, and Lock & Unlock, allowing drivers to lock or unlock their Enyaq remotely via the MyŠkoda app. The mobile app now also supports up to four guests who can use most services, while the management of Plug & Charge, Service Scheduling, and Digital Certification remains exclusive to the primary user. The Discover tab now provides Škoda-related news, while the Track & Explore tab enables users to monitor the production status of their new car and learn about its features.
Updates to the infotainment system further improve the user experience
A new Heaters button activates and deactivates all heating functions with a single tap. The top bar on the infotainment screen now includes quick-access favourites for features like battery pre-heating, Intelligent Speed Assist, and Heaters. Additionally, users are now logged in automatically, eliminating the need for manual authentication on the welcome screen. The optional augmented-reality head-up display has also been revised to include night and day display modes, updated graphics and new icons – for example, for smaller roundabouts or showing the distance to an obstacle when parking.
Digital voice assistant with ChatGPT integration
The digital voice assistant Laura offers an extended range of functions, courtesy of the integration of ChatGPT. The ChatGPT software, which is based on artificial intelligence (AI), enables Laura to answer general knowledge questions in addition to controlling vehicle infotainment, navigation and climate control systems. The range of answers, even to complex questions, is constantly increasing. As ChatGPT has no access to vehicle information or personal data and all interactions are subsequently deleted, maximum data protection is guaranteed at all times.
Škoda Charger wallboxes: connectivity and efficiency
The Škoda Charger wallbox is an essential component of the Škoda ecosystem for convenient, efficient and fast home charging. The Škoda Charger Connect, delivering up to 11 kW, offers an environmentally friendly home charging solution with its new solar optimised charging mode. This model also supports dynamic‑tariff and spot‑price charging, optimising costs. The Connect version includes LAN and Wi‑Fi connectivity, allowing users to control the charging process remotely via the MyŠkoda app. The top‑tier Pro version features an LTE connection with a pre‑paid eSIM.
