Hermann Prax is to become Head of Product Communication at ŠKODA AUTO on 1 June, 2018. The 46-year-old most recently worked at Volkswagen Corporate Communication in Wolfsburg.

Mladá Boleslav, 14 May 2018 – Hermann Prax (46) will be responsible for the communication of product, technology and motorsport topics at ŠKODA AUTO from 1 June, 2018. In this position he will report directly to Jens Katemann, Head of Communication at ŠKODA AUTO.

Hermann Prax, who studied communication science in Salzburg, has been working in the Volkswagen Group since 2013. He has been the Spokesperson for Corporate and Business Communication at Wolfsburg for the past two years. Between 2013 and 2016, Prax was responsible for the communication agendas of the Volkswagen Group in India as well as the Volkswagen plant in Pune.

Before joining the Volkswagen Group, the Austrian native worked at Porsche Holding Salzburg for more than eight years, including seven years in the press office as a spokesperson for Volkswagen Passenger Cars, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles and Audi among others. In his new position, Prax will be responsible for the ŠKODA brand’s global Product Communication.
